Dead Bird Digester-A 1500-gallon Digester Tank was installed on a broiler farm. No lateral lines were installed, only a distribution box to obtain liquid samples. In 5 months 10,000 lbs. of carcasses were put in the tank. The tank was pumped at 5 months and less then 250 lbs. of solids remained in the tank. NItrates were at an acceptable level, and odor was essentially eliminated.

Food Waste Digester- A 3000-gallon Digester Tank was installed in the ground at a Correctional Facility. A commercial disposer was installed to grind food waste entering the tank. An average 12 tons of food waste per month entered the tank over a 30 month period. The food has been turned into dissolved oxygen and water. Odor was essentially eliminated.

Hog Carcass Digester- A 55-gallon drum was filled with water and 60 lbs. of hog carcasses. In 3 weeks, only a thin layer of one skull was left and odor was virtually nonexistent.

Grease Traps- One grease trap was being pumped every two weeks. Three weeks after treatment, the grease level dropped 18 inches during continued use and did not need to be pumped. Odor was virtually eliminated and BOD reduced significantly.

Dairy Manure Lagoon-The lagoon surface was solid enough to walk on in many areas. Odor was strong with no visible surface water. Six weeks after treatment, surface was 30% visible liquid and lagoon material was soft enough to be pumped.

Hog Manure Lagoon- Lagoon surface waste islands and sludge were thick and odor was unbearable. Natural bacterial activity was visually nonexistent. Eighteen days after treatment, surface waste dissipated and odor began to disappear.
